Chef de Partie – 18 July


Your role as Chef de Partie places you within a team of 6 experienced chefs in a fast paced environment and an ever changing specials board.

Full time contract with time & a half for Bank holidays.
Pension Scheme
28 Days holiday
Closed for Christmas Day & Boxing Day
Applicant must have a minimum 2 years experience
Expected start date: 17/05/2021
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: from £23,000 per year

Job duties include:

  • Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues
  • Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations
  • Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.)
  • Follow the guidance of the head chef or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes
  • Put effort in optimising the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
  • Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
  • Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
  • Ensure all ingredients & stock levels are maintained on a daily basis to ensure all dishes are available from the menu.
  • Ensure preparation/task lists are completed on a daily basis to maintain a smooth service

Kitchen Assistant – 16 July


We are looking for someone with previous kitchen experience along with a bubbly “can do” attitude. MINIMUM 6 months experience.

Your previous experience will allow you to hit the ground running in our busy, fast paced environment.

Full contract & pension

Salary: £9.00+ per hour

Bar/Waitress Staff – 15 July


We are looking for someone with previous bar experience and excellent customer service skills along with a bubbly “can do” attitude. Your previous experience will allow you to hit the ground running in our busy, fast paced environment.

Full Time – Must be Available at Weekends
Part-time – 20-45 hours per week
Expected start date: 17/05/2021
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £6.56-£9.00 per hour

Job duties include:

  • Greet and escort customers to their tables
  • Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
  • Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
  • Inform customers about the day’s specials
  • Offer menu recommendations upon request
  • Up-sell additional products when appropriate
  • Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software and/or order pads
  • Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
  • Serve food and drink orders
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
  • Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
  • Deliver bills and collect payments
  • Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
  • Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
  • Follow all relevant health department regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests
  • Deal with customer queries in order to achieve a satisfactory outcome
  • Ensuring the bar has sufficient stock
